One of the classic French-designed electrics of the 1960s, the Class BB15000 have been the backbone of services along the Est main line up until the opening of the TGV-Est recently. They also worked in other parts of France. However, as this family of locomotives was developed, some were used as testbeds for future locos, such as BB7003.
This model reflects that BB7003 is one of the 1st series build of the BB15000s. It wears the classic "TEE" livery red and grey with number plaques which it wore during the time of its existence during Era IV.
The model is DCC Ready and incorporates white/red lights, operating pantographs, NEM couplings and a wealth of detail.
