THE PICTURE SHOWN IS OF THE UNPAINTED PRE-PRODUCTION MODEL.
The Type SNCB Type 15s were developed to allow through working to systems away from the Belgian 3kV d.c. system. They regularly worked to Paris Gare du Nord as well as occasional workings to Cologne (Germany) and Amsterdam (Holland)
Some of the Type 15s retained their blue livery through the 1980s (Era IV > Era V), but they were given yellow lining. 1504 is depicted here in this guise.
The model has working lights, fine scale pantographs and a wealth of detail on both body and chassis. A DCC socket comes as standard.
