This class of 6 electrics is identical to the French CC40100 class and was designed to be operational throughout the whole of Europe due to their ability to work off all the major overhead line voltages, in practise the SNCB ones worked out of Belgium to Paris Gare du Nord and Cologne on a regular basis with major international expresses. A wonderful example of the brilliant French locomotive design in the '50s and '60s.
The model has a wealth of detail including fine pantographs, superb moulding on the body and chassis and crisply applied livery and printing. Directional lighting, DCC socket and NEM coupling pockets come as standard.
