 The 1960s saw several countries experiment with mutli-voltage engines that would allow through working across borders where voltage changes occurred. Those made by Germany were successful to a degree, but not as high profile as those from other countries

The Class E410, later Class 184, were quadri-current electrics which allowed through working between Germany, France, Belgium and Holland, amongst others. With these effectively being prototypes for supposed future builds, locos were built by AEG and BBC.

This version comes as the UIC numbered Class 184, and wears the blue and ivory DB livery of Era V. It is one of the locos built by
