During the mid-1990s, the SNCB took delivery of a new style of air-conditioned coach suitable for internal and international services at 200km/h. These usually run in uniform rakes of the coach, often with a driving trailer on the rear for internal services and a 'matching' Type 13 providing motive power. All coaches wear a white livery with dark window band. There are 2 slight variants, one build comes with 2 grills on the chassis, the others have 4.
This set comprises of 3 coaches - two seconds and a driving trailer, the latter having operating lights which change according to the direction of travel. These coaches are all of the 2-grill variety.
The models contain a wealth of moulded detail on both the chassis and the body, as well as having full interior detailing. NEM coupling pockets are also fitted as standard
