The Traxxas Revo 3.3 takes all the award winning innovation engineered into the Revo 2.5R to a completely new level of power, speed and performance.

More Engine, More Power, More Speed 

Compared to the TRX 2.5, the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine delivers 60% more peak horsepower together with an incredible boost of nearly 50% total increased horsepower under the curve. There has never been an engine like the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine.

The Revo 3.3 has been up-graded with enhancements to harness the massive power output including 30mm of additional chassis length, increased mounting strength and tighter suspension with installed progresive 2 rockers. There is also a wide-ratio two-speed inside the transmission that takes full advantage of the TRX 3.3's massive power curve for top speeds in excess of 45mph.

Extended Wheelbase Chassis

With the additional power generated by the much improved TRX 3.3 Engine engineers at Traxxas have equipped the Revo with a longer wheelbase chassis that has additional support around the engine mount. The longer wheelbase combines with the installed progresive 2 suspension rockers to provide the stability needed for acceleration on the toughest parts of the track.

Push Button Electric Starting

Only the Traxxas EZ-Start offers the pure convienience of true one-handed operation and complete on-board, push-button electric starting. The EZ-Start is the safest and most reliable way to start your engine. The Traxxas EZ-Start lights the glow plug and then starts the engine quickly and smoothly at the push of a button.

OptiDrive Electronically Controlled Transmission

The Revo's transmission delivers innovative two-speed, forward and reverse operation in an ultra-compact package. The OptiDrive electronic shift module uses advanced microprocessor control to sense vehicle speed and optimise forward and reverse shifting. Direction control is performed via a third channel on the transmitter. This system allows the transmission to be lighter with fewer moving parts for reduced internal mass and greater torque handling. 

Maximum Suspension Travel

When the Revo was first released, it reached far beyond anyone's expectations for chassis and suspension design. Over small bumps the suspension is light and responsive. Compress the suspension over larger bumps and jumps and the rocker suspension progressivley increases the spring force and shock damping. In an instant the suspension becomes harder and stiffer.

TRX Power Charger

The Revo was the first to take a total system approach to eliminating the slow steering response found on other monster trucks. Provided with this Revo is an integrated 5-Cell NiMH rechargeable battery pack to provide all the power needed to maximise servo performance. With the built-in charging jack and the AC/DC TRX Power Charger makes fast charging (approx 1 hour) as simple as just plugging it in. Twin high-torque servo's provide the power to drive a single heavy-duty servo saver. Twin servos are lighter and more compact than just using a single servo, together they deliver an un-matched steering response.
