Nigels second image for 2009, like the previous, Yellow Cab, is a little different as it features Chocolate Labs. For those of you who follow his work, you will know that he has only produced a limited number of Chocky Lab images. Of those, the Just Dogs image is now sold out and The Beech Boys has also all but gone. It was time!

Domestic scenes are  popular at present and fireside images have always had appeal. It is, however, the first time he has painted a log-burner but felt that with the words Chip and Block in the title, it was appropriate - and they are very much in vogue these days
